We are a public-interest corporation. We complete and facilitate the financing chain for businesses creating value in the Brussels Region. How? By providing concrete financial solutions to entrepreneurs’ needs in the form of loans, equity investments or guarantees at key stages in a company’s lifecycle: creation, development, innovation, international expansion, environmental transition, and business transfer or takeover.

We serve two distinct target groups: on the one hand start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs (with investments ranging from €100,000 to €5 million), and on the other hand micro-enterprises, social enterprises and cooperatives (with investments ranging from €5,000 to €150,000).

Our dual mission:

1. To boost the economy of the Brussels-Capital Region in line with its economic policy priorities, in particular by supporting the transition towards business models that are socially and environmentally responsible.
2. To apply sound industrial, financial and commercial management principles, while achieving a market-level return that takes investment risk into account.
